| Our friend Angela Ayers, 32 and mother of two children was diagnosed with Stage Four Squamous Cell Carcinoma in June 2009. Although she was given a terminal diagnosis, Angela is a fighter. It is her wish that she is able to take her children to Disneyland. "Hope for Ang" is a night of celebrating life, love, family and friends while helping to raise funds so Angela, her children Mason & Madalynn & , her fiance Aaron Hansen and his two children Taeler & Kayley, can take a family trip that will give them memories to last a lifetime.
"Hope for Ang" on Tuesday, Nov. 24 will be at the Ponderosa Room at the Mirabeau Park Hotel located at N. 1100 Sullivan Road in Spokane Valley. Doors open at 6:30 pm. $10 at the door. The Inland Northwest Sports Awards Luncheon recognizes the achievements of these student, amateur and professional athletes. The Spokane Regional Sports Commission hosts the annual Luncheon which attracts over 1,000 youths, coaches, parents and athletic supporters. The finalists chosen by the SWABs are honored and the winners are announced. Tickets for the event are $20. |
